Why Does It Feel So Hard Sometimes?

If you have ADHD, you may recognize some of these patterns:

  • Conversations escalate before you realize what's happening.
  • You fully intended to follow through — and it slipped anyways.
  • You feel defensive before you've even processed what was said.
  • The same conflict keeps returning, no matter how much you want it to stop.
  • You find yourself working for your partner, not with them.
  • Household responsibilities have quietly become a source of real tension.
These patterns aren't evidence that you don't care or can't change. ADHD just makes it harder.

The good news? This course gives you the specific tools to help you address them.

STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?

    General Questions

  • No. This course is designed specifically for adults with ADHD who want to improve their relationship skills and become strong partners.

  • No problem. Whether you can't attend any of the live sessions or you miss a few along the way, you'll still have access to the recordings.

All sessions, except for the student Q&A portions of each session, will be recorded and available to enrolled students approximately 24–48 hours after the live session. This means you can catch up on any content you miss and move through the program at a pace that works for you.

While attending live gives you the opportunity to participate in real time and ask questions, you'll still receive all of the core teaching and training through the recordings.

  • Yes. Live sessions include opportunities for interaction and Q&A with the instructors. Do note that the Q&A segment in the live course will not be recorded to protect students' privacy.

  • No. You do not need to attend the Couples Seminar to benefit from this course.

Relationship Skills for ADHD Partners is designed to teach practical skills that help ADHD partners improve communication, emotional regulation, follow-through, and connection in their relationships.

If you and your partner would like a deeper understanding of how ADHD impacts relationships, we highly recommend taking the Couples Seminar together. The Couples Seminar focuses on understanding ADHD relationship dynamics, while Relationship Skills for ADHD Partners focuses on building the skills needed to create positive change.

The two courses complement each other, but either course can be taken independently.

  • Relationship Skills for ADHD Partners is specifically focused on helping you build the skills needed for a healthier, stronger relationship. While there is some overlap, this course focuses on communication, emotional regulation, conflict, follow-through, boundaries, and partnership within the context of ADHD relationships.

Foundations in Habit Development focuses more broadly on developing sustainable habits and systems that support success across many areas of life, including productivity, organization, and daily functioning.

    Think of it this way:

    • Foundations in Habit Development helps you build the habits and systems that support everyday life.
    • Relationship Skills for ADHD Partners helps you build the relationship skills that support stronger communication, connection, and partnership.
  • No. This is an educational course focused on practical relationship skills and ADHD-specific strategies.
